Pregnancy Symptoms

If you've missed your period, one of the first things that may have popped into your head is that you may be pregnant, and while that may be true there, you can still have some bleeding or spotting when it's time for your menstrual cycle. And there are other symptoms that women experience when they are pregnant.

If you are pregnant, you need to find a doctor so that you can begin appropriate prenatal care. You need to take care of yourself and your baby. You should learn all about the trimesters so that you can follow your baby's development and more importantly learn when your due date is.

Something that affects every pregnant woman is discomfort. You may a few symptoms or a multitude, no two women are the same, and even pregnancy to pregnancy in the same women can vary. But chances are that you will experience a few symptoms.

Symptoms

• Nausea and vomiting

• Cramps

• Swelling

• Food cravings

• Bloating

• Heartburn

• Mood Swings

• Stretch marks

• Varicose veins

There are a multitude of symptoms and if you are fortunate you will only have to endure a couple symptoms like indigestion or heartburn or sore breasts and nipples. Women how aren't so fortunate experience constipation, nose bleeds and vomiting at all hours of the day and night. Some women can't sleep either.

And the signs and symptoms go on and on...there are yeast infections, hemorrhoids, dry and itchy skin, Braxton Hicks contractions, smelly vaginal discharges, and leg cramps. You could be exhausted all the time, fatigue sets in for some pregnant women.

And along with all of these symptoms you will be eating for two and gaining weight. It is important for all moms-to-be that maintain a healthy diet and exercise program to help you and your growing baby.
